
Tata Group, Titan Industries is eyeing to double sales of its Sonata brand watches over the next 3-4 years on the back of the affordability and reliability of fire, a senior company official said.
"Sonata will continue to offer reliability and affordability for consumers. We expect to sell about 10 million watches a year over the next 3-4 years, compared to 6 million, we sell now," Titan Industries Chief Operating Harish Bhat told Press here.
Sonata brand has grown by about 30 percent of sales in the current year, he added. "The label (Sonata) contributes nearly 50 percent of total sales of 12 million watches, we sold this year," he said.
Asked about the growth in total sales of the business shows, Mr. Bhat does not disclose figures but said "it is OK to double digits."
He introduced a new logo and tag-line character as part of its rebranding.
