Because of rumors and promised Jack Wong, Meizu's CEO, China PMP manufacturers will release the M9 Android-based smartphone, which is designed M8 successor.
M9 is a new Android 2.2 Meizu with its user interface. It has a 3.5 inch 960 × 640 high resolution touch screen, multitouch support.

The Meizu M9 has a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. It is compatible with GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and GSM / GPRS / EDGE and WCDMA / HSDPA / HSUPA networks. There is a mini USB port for charging, microSD card slot for expansion and a headphone jack 3.5 mm.
