
Mike MUSCAL scored 21 points and Bucknell beat La Salle 89-77 Friday night in his first road win of the season in five attempts.
The Bison (5-6) won his third straight game and defeated La Salle in Philadelphia for the first time.
Bryan Cohen added 19 points, Cameron Ayers was 13, and Darryl Shazier was 10 and the bison, who broke a streak of two defeats against the Explorers.
Bucknell led 36-28 at halftime and built a lead of 13 points in the second half before La Salle was cut to 53-49 with 12:45 to play. Bucknell answered with six straight points to go ahead 59-49 and the cable never fell below eight points the rest of the track.
Aaric Murray scored 28 points, Jerrell Williams added 15 and Ruben Guillandeaux had 13 for La Salle (6-5), who lost for the first time this season for a team with a losing record.
