At first glance, nothing. In the werewolves and vampires s.. melancholy heart of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, while the other is immortal Scottish swordsman barbarians fighting for its very survival.
But if Hollywood gets its way, a new look at the "immortals" the story is filtered through a "Twilight" ... prism type.
Melissa Rosenberg, who among other things have all four "Twilight" movie and episodes of "Ally McBeal" and "The OC" is in negotiations to write a remake of "Highlander" Justin Lin ("Fast Five") to directing, reports THR. Summit acquired the remake rights to "Highlander" Panzer Productions / Davis back in 2008.
Although THR Rosenberg admits that "may seem a strange choice to write the remake of action," but explains that the author had to find a balance between character development and action in "Twilight" saga, and can refer to "Highlander" Connor MacLeod Edward because of their invulnerability and an inability to age.
