Bring Back The Trophy - Mandela's Message to Proteas

Doctors also expressed concern that the image of the patient of 92 years, the world was getting too many visitors to be able to recover properly, the president Jacob Zuma has spent more than an hour with him at his home yesterday.

Zuma had just returned from visits to consecutive World Economic Forum in Davos, and the African Union in Addis Ababa.

Mandela is a respiratory illness after spending two days in the hospital last week that caused worldwide concern about his health.

Zuma, while achieving the Proteas before their departure for India, said Mandela had asked him to forward the message to the team. "We will support you until the end until you bring the trophy and handed to President Nelson Mandela. Cricket is a national asset and the nation is fully behind you that your victory is our victory," Zuma said the national cricket team on the presidential guesthouse in Pretoria.

"I met him (Mandela) this morning and promised him that you will do your best and make the nation proud. It supports you all the way and watch the Games as much as possible on television," he said.

Smith, who also celebrated the thirtieth birthday on Tuesday, said that the Party was inspired by the message of Mandela.
